Polyurethane rigid (all-water) open-cell foam material with good noise reduction property
With the development of human civilization, the problem of noise pollution has become prominent, and it is known as one of the three major public hazards in society. Noise control has become a top priority for human, and the research on sound absorption and noise reduction materials is also one of the important research directions of scientific and technological workers around the world.
Polyurethane foam (PUF) integrates the sound absorption mechanism of general porous materials and the damping sound absorption mechanism of flexible materials, and has good sound absorption and sound insulation performance, and it is increasingly valued by the atmosphere as a sound absorption and noise reduction material. According to the different forms of bubbles, PUF is divided into two categories: closed-cell type and open-cell type, closed-cell PUF is mainly used for heat insulation and insulation, and open-cell PUF is mainly used for sound absorption. PUF is odorless, breathable, uniform cell formation, aging resistance, resistance to organic solvent erosion, and has strong viscosity to metal, wood, glass, masonry, fiber, etc. Therefore, polyurethane rigid foam as a sound-absorbing material can be used in many occasions where compressive strength is required.
After research, the preparation process adopts all-water foaming process, aromatic amine polyether polyol A and low viscosity polyether polyol B are combined, when the mass fraction of pore opener is 3.0%, the mass fraction of foam stabilizer is 2.0%, the amount of water added is 4.0%, and the foam thickness is 3.5cm, polyurethane foam has the best noise reduction performance.
