Tris(2-chloroisopropyl) Phosphate TCPP
TCPP, Tris(2-chloroisopropyl) phosphate is a chlorinated phosphate ester flame retardant that is commonly used in polyurethane rigid foam ( PUR and PIR ) and flexible foam. It is an additive flame retardant that can be added to either part by a combination of polyols or isocyanate to achieve long-term stability. TCPP can also reduce the viscosity of unsaturated polyester resins and phenolics in low temperature.
Packaging : 250kg/drum; 1250kg/IBC
APPLICATION
1. In rigid foam applications, TCPP is widely used as part of the flame retardant to enable formulations to meet basic fire standards such as DIN 4102 (B1/B2), EN 13823 (SBI, B), GB/T 8626-88 (B1/B2), ASTM E84-00. The volume of addition in PU rigid foam is 10% – 20% of the blend polyols. 2. In flexible foam applications, TCPP combined with melamine can meet BS 5852 CRIB 5 standards. 3. TCPP can also be used to produce foam sealant polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene, phenol resin, acrylic resin, rubber and fire-retardant paint. In PVC soft materials, when TCPP addition is 10%, flame retardant and plasticizer can achieve the best results, with antimony trioxide used together.
